About The Founder

 

 

John Raymond V. Sarreal, is a world-class child prodigy who started playing the flute at the age 7. Through the years, he garnered awards in the following prestigious competitions: National Music Competition for Young Artist (NAMCYA) Grand Champion in 1995 and 1998 as well as Category A Grand Champion in 2001 and Category B in 2004 and Grand Champion for Category C in 2008. He was later nominated as best instrumentalist at the ALIW AWARDS in 2012.

 

Mr. Sarreal has been featured twice as a soloist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra in 2008 and 2014. He was an assisting artist to Sumi Jo, a world-renowned soprano during her concert debut in the Philippines last February 2014. Aside from being a soloist, Mr. Sarreal has performed in various ensembles and orchestras both here and abroad. These local orchestras include the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra (as principal flutist from 2004-2012), the Manila Symphony Orchestra, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, to name a few.

 

Along with the best musicians in Asia, he has concertized and toured China, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Japan and Vietnam as part of the Asian Youth Orchestra in 1999, 2000 and 2006. He has also been a member of the South East Asian Youth Orchestra in 2006, 2007 and 2010.
